What is wet painting?
V coat has extensive experience in wet coating or paint spraying for industrial applications. It is a process in which multiple layers of liquid lacquer are applied to the product. It can be a combination of different types of layers, with each layer performing its specific function. Wet paint is available in every color imaginable. Any desired finish is possible: matte, gloss or high gloss.
Wet coating can be done on a variety of surface textures. From applications on steel, aluminum, zinc, stainless steel or copper, as well as plastics such as PVC, ABS, SMC, Polycarbonate and many more. In addition to extensive experience with standard polyurethane coatings, we also have a great deal of feeling for special wet-coatings. Phosphor lacquers, Nextel lacquers, Soft-touch lacquers, heat-resistant coatings, anti-graffiti varnishes, EMI shielding lacquers and electrical insulating lacquers are some examples.

At our Heusden-Zolder facility, we have three wet paint lines. The first wet paint line is a fully automated painting line with a chemical pretreatment process, where the products are thoroughly cleaned using a power wash system. In the wet paint booth, both decorative and anti-corrosion coatings can be applied to steel and plastic, which are then cured in the integrated tunnel oven.
The second wet paint line is a fully autonomous painting line with a chemical pretreatment process in which the products are thoroughly cleaned using a power wash system. This line consists of a wet paint booth where high-heat-resistant paints can be applied (e.g., to exhaust systems, heaters, etc.) and an integrated tunnel oven that forces the paints to dry at a temperature of 180 °C. This painting line is also connected to powder coating line 2 so that sandblasted parts can, if necessary, be finished with a powder coating instead of liquid paint.
The third is a line for parts weighing up to 1,000 kg and measuring up to 6,000 mm in length.
Here, we can apply multi-layer wet paint systems to achieve corrosion-resistant systems up to Class C5M and even CX (these are the best corrosion-resistant systems).
At our Bilzen facility, we have an automatic wet-paint line. The line offers the perfect solution for finishing large quantities, with a capacity of 1,000 kg per beam (45 beams in total). Each beam is equipped with a sensor and a unique QR code, allowing us to accurately track the beams’ route. Thanks to the automated line and the drop section, we guarantee an efficient and reliable process. For pretreatment, we have a durable mechanical blast booth.
Atelier Heusden-Zolder - 3 wet paint booths
Wet Paint Booth 1 is ideal for products that require a very high-quality finish. This booth operates entirely under positive pressure and features its own pretreatment zone and drying chamber. The products do not leave the climate-controlled areas until they are fully finished. Naturally, it is suitable for both metal and plastic.
We use Spray Booth 2 for products that require multiple coats for high corrosion protection (Class CM5).
Paint Booth 3 is used for applying special technical coatings, such as EMC shielding (nickel or copper), to plastics.

Screen print
Screen printing is ideal for producing crisp, durable prints on flat industrial parts. Logos, text, symbols, and markings are applied with sharp clarity, even in large production runs.
Pad Printing & Markings
Even small, curved, and complex parts can be printed with precision. Pad printing makes it possible to apply logos, text, symbols, and technical markings to surfaces.
UV flatbed printing

Powder coating
Powder coatings are environmentally friendly and stand for scratch-resistant results. Powder coating applies to all kinds of ferrous metals. V coat does it all with a structural focus on quality.
Printing
V coat has a wide range of options in surface treatment techniques and therefore also in printing.
Pretreatment
The quality of powder or wet-lacquer coating stands or falls with proper and thorough pre-treatment of the materials. Only then will you get an even, scratch-resistant and beautiful end result.
EMI shielding
Electronic products receive a lacquer that ensures protection against external electromagnetic interference.
Assembly
V coat unburdens you as much as possible by also providing small assembly works, thus streamlining your process.
Sheet metal and metalworking
Through our partners Robby and Femaco, we also handle sheet metal work: Robby specializes in stainless steel and metal work, while Femaco focuses on processing sheet metal and metal bars into custom parts.
